On The Rocks – Vol. 8

A selection of cool tracks guaranteed to give you the chills.

There is a huge amount of quality on display in today’s volume beginning with mellow remixes from New Zealand duo Mt Eden and London artist Eyes, deep basslines from Greco-Roman favourite Hackman and some dubstep wizardry from international man of the moment Skrillex.  We have a juicy summertime remix from Picture House, a competition-winning remix from talented young production team Errorism and  a silky smooth track from Berlin-based Frenchman Zimmer.  There are also beautiful records from Swedish group Air France, ambient Oxford-based musician Chad Valley, L.A. hip-hop group The Pharcyde and electronic genius Derek Vincent Smith, better known as Pretty Lights.  We end with a remix by 16 year old Pittsburgh producer Mr. FijiWiji who adds a gorgeous chillstep bassline and some awesome Charlie Chaplin vocals to one of the greatest progressive house tracks of all time.
