Budsmokers Only – Vol. 3

Spark up and kick back with a chronic batch of hip-hop sounds.

Today we begin with Coldcut‘s famous remix of a groundbreaking Eric B. & Rakim production and a jazzed out classic from Latin rapper Kid Frost.  We have some incredibly raw material from Eminem, including a cut from his debut album Infinite that only sold 1000 copies and a track from his 1997 release The Slim Shady EP that led to him being signed by Aftermath Entertainment.  There is a funky collaboration between Mos Def and Pharaohe Monch which features the smooth vocal talents of Nate Dogg as well as a ghostly record by Originoo Gunn Clappaz, a Brooklyn-based trio best known for their membership in the Boot Camp Clik.  Put your feet up as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rap about good times in the ghetto and then feel the flow of Naughty By Nature as they serve up one of the coolest tracks of the 90’s.  We end with two freakishly hot tracks by comedian/musician Childish Gambino taken from his intelligently obscene EP released earlier this year.
