Jack Had A Groove – Vol. 3

A selection of house tracks to keep your mouth dry and your fist pumping.

We kick things off with some nostalgic nu-disco from Vancouver producer FM Attack, a funky remix by New York duo Javelin and a wonderful track from French-house producer LeBatman.  We also have some intense electronics from Italian DJ Alex D’Elia and a massive minimal monster from German musician Gregor TresherSander Van Doorn released his Eleve11 last month and we have picked our favourite from the album, a huge progressive crowd-pleaser with a super sick bassline.  We end things with an infectious track from Cinnamon Chasers, the solo project of Russ Davies (son of Kinks legend Ray Davies), that blossoms into one great big spectacular loop that you will never want to end.  The fast-paced first-person video for the song was made by Iranian-born, California-raised director Saman Keshavarz and won best music video at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival.  Check it out here.  We cap things off with remixes from Australian band Cut Copy, Dutch DJ Laidback Luke and Swedish talent Albin Myers.
