Jack Had A Groove – Vol. 1

A selection of house tracks to keep your mouth dry and your fist pumping.

We have plenty of little surprises for you today including a real beauty from the upcoming Justice album and an awesome piece of disco from visionary musician Mr. Oizo.  There is a complex minimal masterpiece from Pig & Dan, brand new releases from Eric Prydz and Nicky Romero as well as a banging Thomas Gold track that the German superstar has reworked himself.  The pick of the bunch is an impressive collaboration between Mark Knight and Wolfgang Gartner that is aptly titled “To Tear To Pieces” when translated from Latin.  There are also solid remixes from Avicii, Axwell, LeBatman and Vibranz to tide you party people over.

We have also included a selection of tracks from the multi-talented DJ Mehdi who died recently following an accident at his home in Paris.  The versatile DJ/producer was one half of rave duo Carte Blanche and rose to fame through his involvement with the Ed Banger collective.  He was known for his successful ability to push musical boundaries and will be sadly missed by clubbers worldwide for his contribution to the French hip-hop, electro and house scene.
