On The Rocks – Vol. 1

A selection of cool tracks guaranteed to give you the chills.

We get things started in this first volume with two stunning tracks by Oxford-based DJ/producer Alphabet Pony who masterfully blends elements of house, dubstep, electro and drum & bass to create his own unique style and sound.  And to make things even better, one of them has been on the receiving end of a liquid dub makeover from the brilliant remix specialist that is Draper.  Meanwhile, as Louis La Roche prepares to drop the eagerly anticipated Hello You, which is still without an official release date, Dutch talent Shook has wasted no time in having his wicked way with the album’s first single and, as I’m sure you will agree, the outcome is silky smooth.  We finish things off with a classic piece of chillout from Keep Shelly In Athens and a particularly sweet track by Loose Shus that will drift you off to an idyllic hideaway.  We have also provided some great remixes from Alan Braxe, Boy 8-Bit, Def Starr and Jakwob as well as some sick sub-bass from U.S. dubstep producer Subvader for your listening pleasure.
